Mizar trader spotlight — BlockParty Trading
We recently had the pleasure of introducing BlockParty Trading, one of the leading trading firms in crypto. BlockParty were one of the first firms we’ve been working with to start using the platform and they have given us valuable feedback on ways to improve the Mizar platform. With their help and expertise, we’ve created the Mizar platform as it is today, a snappy and easy to use platform for both our traders and users.
In this interview, the BlockParty team’s openness and willingness to collaborate with us shines through. We were also pretty excited to hear about their thoughts about the market!
Who are you, and what is BlockParty?
I’m Nick Chappells co-founder of BlockParty trading, my founders are Christian Tirel and Reggie George. BlockParty is a multi-faceted crypto money-making service. We produce everything from tutorials, market analysis and custom chart indicators, to trade signals and automated trading alogo’s to live scalping sessions on twitch.
How did you get into trading crypto?
Mainly as a means to speed up profit-taking from crypto hodling. All our trading strategies come out of a desire to outstrip the returns available from just hodling. We have professional backgrounds in commodities trading, mutual funds and forex.
What kind of trader are you?
We cover all bases and advocate a fully diversified approach combining long term portfolio management, swing trades, leveraged trades and high frequency automated trading. We like to innovate and create bespoke strategies, our blockshift system available exclusively on Mizar is the next generation of DCA trading. A smart DCA system that highlights both our innovation as signallers and the technical excellence of Mizar.
How did you learn about Mizar and what made you decide to use Mizar?
We met with the Mizar creators early in the platform’s genesis and were drawn to the project by their creativity and commitment to revolutionising smart trading.
Can you tell us about your experience using Mizar?
Firstly it’s incredibly profitable. Our Horizon bot has returned some incredible results averaging around 0.5% per day in the testing phase. Making it easily our best performing spot market product on any platform.
The user interface is streamlined and intuitive and execution speed is the best on the market.
What brings you to crypto, and what excites you the most about the space?
Well, we think crypto is the future. It’s equitable and egalitarian. A new system in which the rules are being created with zero barrier to entry and no defined rules. It’s the most exciting industry in the world and we’re just beginning to explore what is possible.
What does the market look like? Any free alpha?
Good. We’re extremely bullish, the institutional interest is really starting to positively shape the next six months for Bitcoin. We’re heavily investing in our fleet of bots at the minute to maximise our exposure to a buoyant market.
What do you want to say to fellow traders who haven’t made it yet?
Diversify, take profit where you can and remember that patience pays.
